We returned mostly how we came... down Box Canyon and toward the gate at Wilmot...but this time Jim led me along a fence line. The trail here was a little wilder. I hit one rutted area too fast and had my feet come off the foot pegs as I began to sail over the bars. Luckily the bike caught up to me and I landed back in the seat. After coming out of the Wilmot gate, Jim led me to an area very near his house but west of Wilmot. We rode through an area where the fence was cut and then along a narrow path and through a narrow wash then out of the wash and started hitting the burms that were perfect for jumping bikes. We hit one after the other. Then Jim stopped and told me we were in the center of an old bombing range. The burms were arranged in concentric circles and we were in the bullseye. The sattelite photo above shows the area. Wilmot is the North-South road on the right.
