We rested a bit in the shade here. A little after this we found the rock studded climb that every trip to the Santa Ritas seems to include. We then made our way to Gardner Canyon and traded bikes. Troy told me I might find his top heavy. That was before he swung a leg over mine and tried to bring it to vertical. The KTM was light as feather. We found a few water bars and I got see how much the KTM liked jumping. Its steering was very light. Troy said that the steering is almost too light for riding the highway. The seat and the whole bike was very narrow. I guess a bicycle rider like Troy can handle a seat like that better than I. It was definately fun to trade and see the different feels of the bikes. Troy said the bikes feel totally different from one another and that the KLR seems like it would be very comfortable on the highway. I agreed.
